Ever wanted to visit space? Well, here is your chance to have a 'look' at how space really looks like without all the edited footage and what not.
The above image showcases the parts of the payload that will be sent to space and record the videos. As you can see, 24 GoPro Hero 3 Cameras are there to record everything and other parts like SD Card which is obviously for storing videos, handwarmer heater to ensure that the payload is functioning at optimal temperature.
The project plans to project those images via Oculus Rift, which by now most geeks should know that it is one of the 'non-commercially available' virtual reality head set. But of course since only a minority owns it, there are plans for it to be made available on smartphone devices and PC too so most of you won't miss out.
